I really love a simple outfits based on a minimal palette. Let’s face it, I own so much black I often put together looks that fall into the ‘minimalist’ category without even trying.
I’ve gone into Dynamite a few times recently and I’m super impressed with some of their basics. I picked up a couple simple tanks that are such a good cut and the softest material, as well as this long grey cardigan. I recommend taking a spin through there sometime soon! This sweater is the perfect length to work over a pencil skirt, or dressed down with jean shorts and booties. I love this pencil skirt from Aritzia for it’s flexibility, and this chiffon tank and ankle strap heels keep this look simple. All these pieces together balanced out in a nice, long line- which as a shorty I am always aiming for. Sometimes less really is more!
I pulled this old Chloe bag out of my closet last week and have been using it again – I forgot how much I like this bad boy. It was my old faithful for years and in a recent closet reorganization we rekindled our friendship.
I also feel like I should mention that I’ve been styling with knots in my tops a lot lately, especially with my tees – I always like things looking a touch undone or rough around the edges!
