Fall Must-Haves

I’ve been holding back sharing my favourite trends for next season. Why? So I could avoid being that super annoying person talking about how much they love fall. I do, but no one wants to hear that at the beginning of August. It’s like when you were a kid and the Back to School ads started. Too soon. Not ready…

Well everyone, it’s Labour day weekend, so the time has come!

Let’s talk cozy stuff in rich colours! As always, I’ve picked a few options for each trend so you can invest or test! (Ooooh accidental rhyme. Def using that again).

Red Statement Boots:

Loving these for fall. Whether in velvet, patent, or suede, tall or short – red boots are a must! Not only are they a great statement piece on their own, but pair them with my other fave trend of “fall florals” and be totally on trend (the combo really tones them down and makes them a lot more wearable).  Bright red is showing up all over for fall, and a pair of boots is a great way to add the colour into your wardrobe.

Fall Florals:

Get digging in your closet! If you’re like me, you may have hoarded some of your favourite dresses over the years and might have the perfect floral dress in your closet already. That said,  Zara has really nailed this trend for fall. Try a midi-length version with thigh-high boots to nail the layered, boho-chic look.

Neutral Plaid:

Another awesome combo with those bold red boots? A professorial menswear blazer. Aim for a boring pattern and clean lines to nail the trend.

Fun Fur:

Probably my favourite trend for fall. Bright, fun, statement fur accents. Look for unnatural colours for fur: pink, blue, green. It’s a bold and fun way to stay cozy as the temperature drops.
