I always try to be prepared a couple weeks before Christmas so I can enjoy the season stress-free knowing my gifts are all purchased, wrapped, and ready to go. Ha. I make myself laugh… that pretty much never actually happens.
So if you’re anything like me, you still have a few things to pick up and time is ticking. Shopping at this time of year is madness, but there is no need to wander aimlessly! Take a look at my top 5 stores to pick up last minute gifts!
*Additional tip: Head to the mall on weekday evenings. Much quieter.
You may already know that I have a serious love affair with Nordstrom. I think their product mix is perfect, and they have something for every price point! It’s a total one-stop-shop. My favourite things to grab at Nordstrom are jewelry for the ladies in my life, and unique accessories for the fellas. If you need some ideas check out their ‘Holiday’ section on the website!
Looking for some luxe and unique home goods? Head to Restoration Hardware. I love that they came to Calgary… it brings me joy. They do an excellent job on their website categorizing products to make finding the perfect gift easy; from bluetooth gramophones to cashmere scarfs.
If you need something for a fun gift exchange or stocking stuffer, Chapters is my go-to. They have great things for the home, and in recent years have started to really up their stocking stuffer game. And of course, they do an amazing job curating great new books for your loved ones to curl up with over Christmas.
The perfect spot for the chefs in your life! My top picks from this year are their holiday linens and table top decor, but you can’t go wrong with cooking utensils or any of their gourmet treats (hot cocoa anyone?).
I am so loyal to HBC it’s unreal. The Bay stripes give me such a sense of nostalgia which is so fitting at Christmas. The Bay is on my list of top locations to shop because their HBC holiday collection is always perfect. Want to give someone the gift of Canadiana? Look no further.
